Driven by Darkfarms’ remarkable success, the Solana blockchain has recently experienced a tremendous surge in memecoin presales.
Such momentum gained traction when Darkfarms’ memecoin $BOME achieved a $1.46 billion market valuation within 48 hours of its March 14 presale debut.
$BOME’s accomplishment inspired numerous creators and projects to adopt similar presale strategies on Solana, leading to a rapid accumulation of substantial capital.
Typically, these projects involve sending $SOL to specified wallets, distributing funds for presale and liquidity pools, setting minimum bids, and potentially imposing time or monetary restrictions.

Amid this vigorous competition, Kero’s $NAP memecoin made waves, raising over $10 million in a day despite its smaller fan base compared to Darkfarms. Its market cap hit $43 million, supported by a whopping $274 million in trading volume.
Following suit was the creative force known as Satoshi’s Mom, whose Nostalgia memecoin ($NOS) presale attracted $3 million and surged to a market cap of $6.7 million.
Joining the burgeoning trend, Trippy Labs announced its own $SHROOM token, succeeding in securing $3.8 million via a limited presale, albeit amidst skepticism owing to the promoter’s hiatus from social platforms.
Though, the memecoin presale rush hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Take $SLERF, for instance: a developer’s mishap wiped out the project’s liquidity buffer and airdrop funds, leaving investors empty-handed.
In another incident, developer Pokeee had to refund $10 million from its $LIKE memecoin presale due to complications with airdrop distribution and bot issues.
Nonetheless, despite occasional setbacks and challenges, the web3 sphere’s explosive growth in memecoin presales underscores the relentless innovation and speculative fervor driving the crypto world forward.
